Day 16, Jennings to Sausalito, Ca.

Yesterday's blog didn't go out on schedule because we were totally drained after the ride.  We rode just short of 90 miles, climbed over 5,000 feet and had mid-day temperatures of 101.2 degrees.

At one point in the ride I came close to pulling over and walking into the stream that we traveled along and in fact, Sue one of our leaders did just that to cool her core temperature down.

We arrive at our hotel to a 12 x 12 from with a double bed.  That didn't work for me so after a conversation with the hotel manager we entered our new room with two queen beds, refrig, microwave, work desk and nice bathroom.

We enjoyed dinner with Martha Stettner a dear friend who has worked at TravelSmith for many years.  It was great to catch up.

Tomorrow is Sn Francisco.
