Day 14, Leggett to Fort Bragg, Ca

Today's ride was one of the best rides of the trip............it was only 47.5 miles but it was a beautiful ride through the forest and the back to the ocean.

We started out with a huge 7 mile climb from 900' to 1900'..........not super steep but it just kept going.  The climb was followed by a screaming 9 mile downhill.  At mile 20 we headed up again with a climb that was steeper but shorter in length.  At mile 25 the ocean appeared again........just spectacular views.

We finished up the ride at our 5 star Motel 6.  We did laundry and relaxed the balance of the day in preparation for tomorrow's big 80 mile day of climbing.
